Originally from Council Bluffs, Iowa I learned to draw from my father growing up and continued my interest throughout school. I am now living in Ames, Iowa, where I attended Iowa State University for Graphic Design graduating in 2019. My endeavors as an artist were more or less officially established in 2019 under the moniker OVERVIVID: Jonah Haug Artwork. Out of school I got a job as the Graphic Designer and sign production specialist at a printing company. This line of work gave me access to materials and capabilities that I incorporated into my style as I continued my work as an abstract mixed media artist. Over the years I have participated in several art festivals in Iowa. I also built a social media profile on Instagram to showcase my ever growing collection of artwork. My work is centered around creative experimentation and the importance of being prolific. I relish the opportunity to hear the unique interpretations others have of my artwork and am always excited to get my workout into the world again.
