Mondays | June 1st - 22nd | 6:30pm - 8:30pm | 4 weeks
 
Students will learn how to quickly capture the essence of the human figure by drawing short timed poses of a live model in conjunction with a variety of exercises and techniques. Gesture drawing allows the student to create a foundation for a more finished drawing later that maintains more of the energy and clarity of the original pose than a typical long-pose figure drawing class. Some of the topics we will cover are line of action, using simple forms, and exaggeration. 
 
*This is a beginner class, although some basic drawing experience is suggested.
*Model will be fully clothed during all poses.
*All materials are provided, but students are encouraged to bring their favorite drawing materials.
