This is a a beginner level workshop.  No watercolor experience required.
*Students must provide their own watercolor paints, brushes, palette. The Ankeny Art Center will provide paper. 
 
This class will focus on a variety of watercolor techniques to create rich texture, expressive form, and visual depth.
 
 Students will be required to bring their own basic watercolor materials (i.e. palette, pigments, and brushes.) Watercolor paper will be supplied by the AAC. Painting boards/supports can also be provided if needed.
 
Materials Needed:
 
Paints: 
Gansai Tambi watercolor pan set of 24 preferred
or 
a basic set of tube watercolors. 
 
Brushes:
Variety of sables similar to transon brush set
 
Other Materials
Salt
rubbing alcohol
tea towel
water containers
paint palette with large mixing areas
