In this exciting project based class, your child will learn a variety of sculpture techniques while working with clay. Your child will love rolling out the clay, pressing stamps, and creating sculptures! Our certified art teachers will help students explore sculpture and glazing.

Camps are 1.5 hour sessions that are held Tuesday through Friday of one given week. To provide appropriate projects, our camps are split into two different age groups: K-4th grade and 5-8th grade. The projects are different each week, so Pottery Sculpture Camp can be repeated for multiple weeks!

Please be sure you register your student for the correct grade (the grade they will be going into.) Class registration is due by 12pm the Thursday before a class begins, unless prior arrangements have been made with staff.

-We expect prompt pick up for your children. Please notify an Ankeny Art Center Staff Member if someone different will be picking up your child or if you will be late for pick up. 
-Photos may be taken during camp classes and used for promotional material. Please inform Ankeny Art Center Staff if you do not want your child to be in any photos.
